We done a Green Thing!

Friday, February 8th, 2008

As anyone who knows us at Superhero will tell you, we are nothing if not an ecological bunch.
You only have to look at Hinges sack cloth shirt or Tom’s solar panel hat to know that!
So with this in mind we were very pleased to be asked to contribute a film to green issues website www.dothegreenthing.com

We made a film to extoll the virtues of using body heat to keep warm to would be green folk the world over.

Using stop frame photography (step forward and bow super snapper, Richie Hopson), a bunch of American Apparel T-Shirts and the cutest lovin’ couple since those ‘love is’ characters we came up with this….

Big Fat Day Out!

Monday, October 1st, 2007

Some months ago Fat Face came to us to help them launch their new flagship store in Princesshay, Exeter.
We suggested they throw a great big end of summer party in a park, and the Big Fat Day Out was born!

We created posters, leaflets, direct mail, radio and instore TV to let Exeter know what was coming its way.
…and Exeter turned up in the thousands to enjoy the day!

New Look More Shoes Launch

Tuesday, September 12th, 2006

As we blow out our first birthday candle, we thought it would be a great opportunity to talk about our brand new campaign for New Look. The brief was to promote their ever growing range of shoes and our pitch winning idea posed the simple question: What is the universal answer to everything? More Shoes! The 5 press executions and posters were shot by Sandro Sodano and can be seen in just about every woman’s magazine imaginable, on escalator panels, in-store, online and on cash machines. You can even hear them on radio!

Heres the work… (click to enlarge!)

Cartoon Network Draw Superhero

Saturday, September 9th, 2006

It’s fantastic to welcome Cartoon Network Round Our House!
Our pitch winning TV campaign, shot by director Urban Strom is currently on air and it was great to work with such large quantities of watermelons,
bananas and mashed potato.
A press and poster campaign can also be seen in magazines and schools up and down the country.

So London Fashion Week might be over but that doesnt
stop the city’s Fashionistas from heading down to the Natural
History Museum for London Fashion Weekend.
Superhero once again are proud to provide the design and
advertising for this, the consumer part of fashion week.
We’d like to thank our good friend Alex Flynn for the illustration
used this and last season.
